Cave Run Lake, also known as “The Muskie Capital of the South,” is nestled on the Daniel Boone National Forest and is renowned for it’s rugged beauty. It is nationally known for being a fisherman’s dream with not only Musky, but it offers an abundance of Bass, Crappie, & Catfish. This 8,270 acre lake is a hotspot for the recreational and outdoor seekers. The Lake and Forest area offers something for everyone, from boating, fishing, hunting, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking & camping. The Lake is also located conveniently close to many other state parks and site seeing adventures, such as the Red River George, Natural Bridge, Carter Caves. & Broke Leg Falls.
